Mountain Biking magazine gives lucky photographers the Holeshot

LOS ANGELES—November 18, 2003—Mountain Biking magazine is starting a new section in the monthly magazine devoted to reader submitted photos. Announced in the December 2003 issue, Holeshot gives readers a chance to get their best bike photos published in an internationally distributed magazine.

Managing Editor Charles Pickett said, “I mentioned the idea of printing reader photos on a couple of pages in the magazine to Mountain Biking Editor Alan Davis just before Interbike and he ran with it. While not a novel concept, it’s still cool to see your photo printed in a magazine on the newsstand.”

Published monthly for two decades by Challenge Publications, Inc. Mountain Biking focuses on competitive and recreational mountain biking appealing to the intermediate to advanced rider who wants to learn more about the sport they love.
