Flow Magazine Back On American Newsstands As Internet Subscriptions Quickly Take Off

Milestone issue is first for new editor Roman Roth who also has the cover photo of a competing publication this month

LOS ANGELES--March 15, 2004--Flow, the original, oversized bad-boy bicycle subculture magazine published by Challenge Publications, Inc. will be available in all its babe, bike and freeride fury on newsstands starting March 16, 2004.

Reorganized under new editor Roman Roth, the magazine reflects his heavyweight media resume, having been published in virtually every cycling magazine in the world. Ironically, as his first Flow issue hits the stands, it will go up against Dirt Rag (Issue #105) featuring a super sexy cover shot also by Roth.

Associate Publisher Tim Baudler says, "We're thrilled by the positive response Flow has received from the industry and the job Roman has done with this popular title. The format has stayed basically the same, but Roman has added his talented and a somewhat twisted touch to the content."

Flow, once only found on newsstands, is now available for subscription. Although the aggressively priced quarterly magazine hasn't been printed in over six months, orders have been consistently streaming in from a secure online subscription form made available last week on www.flowxxx.com.

The Spring 2004 issue of Flow features a number of articles including: a freeride mission with Mike Wilson, videographer Phil Phree (of Union movie fame) attempting a front flip off a cliff, Judd de Vail building a mountain bike park for Tamarack Resorts in Southern Idaho, the trials and tribulations of a start-up frame building business, and an expose on erotic bicycle artist Keira Dooley of Merry Saddles.

Annual subscriptions to the quarterly published Flow cost $15.95 in the US. To order, visit www.flowxxx.com or call the subscription service at (800) 562-9182.
